Mae Kapa Yuxibu Project
The project aims to rescue and strengthen the cultural identity of the Huni Kuî people through immersive experiences and workshops both within the state of Acre and during travels across Brazil.
The activities include artisan workshops, painting sessions, online Hãtxa Kuî language classes, immersive experiences, and ceremonies with the healing power of the forest’s medicinal plants, combined with traditional chants and prayers.
Through these activities, the project successfully raised the necessary funds to complete the land purchase phase!
To make the Mae Kapa Yuxibu Center fully operational, the construction of the headquarters is now required. This will include dormitories, bathrooms, a prayer and ceremonial house, along with food cultivation areas and ecological sanitation systems.
